TRI NZ Membership

In February 2016, Triathlon NZ launched a paid memberships option for triathletes in New Zealand.

To coincide with these recent changes, key New Zealand event providers including the Port of Tauranga Half are aiding to simplify the membership process by supplying Triathlon NZ event-day race licenses with participant registrations.

During your registration for the Port of Tauranga Half, you will be prompted to answer whether you have a Triathlon NZ or International Triathlon membership. If you check the no option, the race-day licence fee of $20NZD will automatically be added to your total checkout amount. The $20 fee is the same for individual and team entries. This fee does not go to the event, but is passed directly onto Triathlon NZ.

An annual membership with Triathlon NZ gives you a TRIBE member benefits card, including deals with 2XU, TrainingPeaks, Suzuki, Pure Sports Nutrition and access to low cost international racing insurance.  As well as supporting the sports 5 key Community initiatives: Youth pathways, Technical programmes, Club and coach development, and Age group support.
